Almost everyone has a camera nowadays – be it “only” the integrated cameras in their mobile phone. What I have found is that many people mostly use the automatic settings.
If you are familiar with terms such as – ISO- aperture-focal length- TV-AV-BLZ-depth of field-guide number- luminous intensity- focal point-APS_C- full format E_TTL-automatic programming-JPG-RAW, this training session is the right one for you. After a few general introductory theories from me, we will discuss the things you want to know. Take your questionnaire with you.

Der Zuseher will und muß geführt werden wie ein kleines Kind, das am Anfang eines Weges steht und nicht weiß, wo es hin geht. Wenn dieser nicht geführt wird, verliert er sich. So wie das Kind, das nie ans Ziel kommt!

Basic seminar: Portrait photography
What exactly is a portrait? How do I make it perfect? What does the light set up look like? What is the best way to show yourself? How do I deal with the model? Which light formers are there? This seminar is more about theory then about practice. It would be good to combine this basic seminar with the “basic workshop for you and your camera”. Topics such as aperture, exposure time, focal length, focus type are assumed to be known and addressed only marginally.

Advanced seminar: Portrait photography
Now it’s getting serious. In the studio you will deal with a real model. Together we will go through the different light situations: Everyone will use his/her own camera. The handling of models and technology will be trained here. The basic seminar as well as good knowledge of your camera and understanding of histograms are required.
